About

• Close to Big Cat Habitat!
• Each spot is 30’x45′ and comes equipped with 20, 30, and 50 Amp power outlets.**
• Includes water and electric hook up and WIFI! RV sites are limited to a maximum of 8 guests.
• Each RV site also has a small fire pit and picnic table available for camper use.
• Bringing in firewood from different locations is dangerous because tree-killing insects and diseases can lurk in or on firewood. Infestations destroy our forests and property values and cost huge sums of money to control. We sell firewood for $5.00 a bundle. 
  • DISCLAIMER: If there is a burn ban for our county, we are not allowed to sell firewood or allow guests to burn in their fire pits.
• ***Septic is not available at this time, but we will provide you with information for places in Eureka Springs that will allow you to dump your RV
• The RV-designated (only) public restrooms are located past the Gift Shop adjacent to the main driveway.  Public Restrooms close for the winter on November 10 and re-open on March 15.

Booking

• If the date you are interested in is unavailable: sign up for our Wait List!
• Rates | Payment is required when you make your booking.
• $50 per night, up to 8 people ($20.00 for each additional guest over 8)
• All registered guests will pay a 1-time discounted entry fee to receive two tours per day per stay during our daily tour times of 9 am – 4 pm (9 am – 3 pm from Mid-November through March) plus unlimited access to the Discovery area during business hours.
• Members do not need to pay this fee. Visit turpentinecreek.org/support/memberships/ to become a member.

Check-in

• Check-in is 3:00PM. Checkout is no later than 11:00AM
• We will send you an email before your arrival date that contains our check-in procedure (as well as after-hour check-in procedures).
• If you arrive before check-in, you will be able to tour the Refuge at no extra charge while you wait for your spot to become available.
• If you do not check your email often or do not have one, please let us know at the time you make your reservation and let us know the best way to get in touch with you.

Winter Stays

• RVs must be self-contained in the winter, as there is no water or Public Restrooms available.
• We do have electricity during the winter season.

CANCELLATION:

•  If you cancel at least 2 weeks (14 or more days) prior to your arrival date, you will receive full reimbursement for your stay.
• If you cancel 2-13 days prior to your arrival date, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee, and we will refund the difference back to you.
• If you cancel within 48 hours of your reservation, you will be charged a cancellation fee of one night and we will refund the difference back to you.
• If you cancel at least 24 hours before your arrival date, you will also be given the option of receiving a lodging gift certificate in the full amount that you paid to redeem on a stay with us at a later date in lieu of a refund.

PET POLICY: Our RV Spots are pet-friendly! We charge a non-refundable fee of $15.00 per non-service animal (this fee also applies to emotional support animals, per ADA, and Arkansas State Law). If your animal is not a dog, please gain approval from one of TCWR’s lodging staff members. Non-service animals are not allowed in the Self-Discovery Area or on the tour loop.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge does close during extreme weather conditions. We do not typically close for basic weather like rain or wind, but it depends on the severity of the weather. The team will monitor weather situations to make the call to close the refuge when the weather is deemed too dangerous for visitors and staff. Announcements will not be made until the day of the closing since the weather in North West Arkansas can change quickly. Some weather conditions that might constitute closing the refuge or delaying tours are lightning, tornados, fires, extreme temperatures, blizzards, freezing rain, icy road conditions, and other violent acts of nature. If any of these situations are predicted please check for closing information on our social media accounts or call the refuge to double-check.

GRILL POLICY: Due to fire hazards, no grills or portable heaters are allowed.

QUIET TIME: 11 pm to 8 am is designated as quiet time for all overnight lodging guests.

7-DAY: Guests may not stay for more than 7 days at a time in one of our RV Spots.

SEPTIC: Septic hook-up is not currently available. There is no dumping station on the ​property. There are two places in Eureka Springs where you can dump waste. We can provide you with that information upon request.

PARKING: Guests must park within their personal camping area or just across from their site. Guests are not allowed to park in other campsites. A charge of $50.00 per night will be charged to guests that park in other campsites.
